Memorial Day

On Memorial Day this year we decided to take Grandpa Nance's canoe out. We went to a place called Bell Slough. First, David and I took Thomas out on the water and Stuart and Heidi stayed with grandma and grandpa and went on the nature trail. Thomas loved it. He brought his fishing pole and cast it a few time, but it never lasted very long. It was very pretty. We saw a bunch of swallow that had made mud nests under the freeway bridge. Then, we switch with grandma and grandpa. Thomas wanted to go out again with them and we took Heidi and Stuart on the trail. It was a fun day and not too hot.
