Happy 4th Birthday Thomas!

Thomas asked for a space shuttle cake for his birthday.  He also wanted to make homemade pizza for the whole family, so I asked David to do the cake.  He did a great job.  Thomas loved it even if he did want it lumpy instead of flat.
Thomas got a stomp rocket from Grandma and Grandpa Nance.  He loves it.  All his cousins and friends do as well.  It was hard to pull him away from it to give him his bike and do cake.
Thomas's cousin Jeremiah had been staying with us for a few days prior to Thomas's birthday, so we had him bring his balance bike to help get Thomas excited to get his own.  I kept saying things like, "Jeremiah's bike sure is fun, too bad you don't have one."
He took to it very quickly.  Before the day was over he could ride quite a little ways without touching the ground.  Now he is a pro.  He takes in when we go on walks and he is much faster than us.
Great shot of how the stomp rocket works.
With the candles sticking out the the bottom of the space shuttle it made it look like to was really going to take off.

A few days before Thomas's birthday we had a little friend party with his friend James we turned 4 less than a week before him.  It was going to be at the park, but it was wet that day, so we had a bunch of little kids in our house.  They had fun just playing!

Thomas is growing up to be a handsome, helpful, bright boy and we love him very much!
