It's been almost a month since Heidi turned one, but I am just finally getting to it. Life as a mom of three has kept me really busy lately. Heidi turned one on a Friday, but I had jury duty orientation (which led to me getting out of jury duty by the way), so we waited until Saturday to have her party. The boys were so excited. All day they just wanted to get ready for the party. We went to the store to have them pick out presents (I always let my kids pick out a present for the birthday person at the dollar store) and decorations (Thomas thought we needed streamers). Then we decorated- balloons, crepe paper, and a handmade sign to go above the front door. We wrapped the presents and of course we also had to make the cake and decorate it and get the birthday dinner ready (pancakes and smoothies- two of Heidi's favorites). Grandma and Grandpa Nance, An'mere, and Aunt Jane came to celebrate with us.

We love our sweet Heidi girl and it was fun to celebrate her!
