Last month we went to the state fair. David took the day off of work and we took the kids to the free kiddie ride and free admission day. We did this last year as well and I think we will make it a tradition. The other day Thomas said, "You know where we need to go again? The fair." He was sad when I informed him that he will have to wait a whole year to go again. We got there as the gate was opening and got to ride lots of fun rides before it got too crowded and then it was off to feed and pet some animals. I love getting deals like this. We only spent $1 and that was for carrots and feed for the animals.
The helicopter was a favorite last year, so we went there first!
It's pretty squishy on some of those little rides, but it was worth it to make my little Stuart happy!
Thomas gave the animals carrots one at a time. It took a while to use up that little cup of carrots.
The llama practically attacked to to get the food.
The got to pet a duck and a chick.
