Thomas dropped our camera a while ago. The battery cover broke, but we rigged that with a rubber band. Then, the memory card holder broke and we rigged that with a piece of felt (to push the card into place), but alas, it didn't last. Finally it kicked the bucket. Here are some fun pictures we have taken with the new camera.
We were playing outside yesterday evening. It has been warm in our house (since we haven't turned on our a/c yet and it has been in the high 80's) and it had finally cooled off outside. Thomas wanted to get the "grass blanket" out, so we decided we would do FHE outside. The boys got their blankets as well and we had a great time. The lesson was about taking care of our bodies. We played a game after the lesson, using fruits and vegetables. It ended quickly because the boys wanted to eat the food instead of guess which one I was hiding behind my back. Stuart bit into the tomato like an apple and ate a good portion of it. Thomas got an apple, daddy got an orange, and I got a baby carrot. I love this picture of Stuart. He says cheese when you get the camera out.
Thomas loves to ride on daddy. Here they are being birds (or maybe airplanes). He also likes to ride on his shoulders and make him gallop like a horsey. What a good daddy.
We went and saw an old steam engine that is making a tour for the 150th anniversary of the Union Pacific railroad. Thomas didn't like how loud it was. He wanted to leave until David suggested that he cover his ears. That worked and we were able to stay for a little while.
We went to the zoo on Friday with a bunch of friends from our ward. Here is Thomas with his friend Max Madsen. How cute!
Thomas and Stuart going down the slide like a train. Stuart says "choo, choo" when Thomas is going to go down the slide with him. They like one of us to go too, but that's easier said than done.
Stuart thinks he is a big boy and can climb up this big arch thing. I have to watch him closely.
David going down the slide with Thomas. We love to walk to the "red park." We go several times a week. I get some exercise and they get to play. It works out great.
Life is good and we are happy. We get our ultrasound on Friday and hopefully will find out the gender of our baby.
