It was a great cabin and we enjoyed our time together. Thanksgiving day was very cold, but we just mostly stayed inside and enjoyed each others company. The weather warmed up as the weekend progressed and by Saturday it was really nice.
We went on two hikes while we were there. We wore orange vests because it is hunting season. First, we went on a little trail near the cabin and took all the kids. It was fun to get out and see things. We saw the Buffalo River and some impressive cliffs. Next, we went on a hike south of Jasper without the kids. We saw a natural bridge which was pretty impressive and a lot of caves. I climbed around in the caves even though I am eight months pregnant. It was a beautiful hike. Cynthia, Jared and Rebecca stayed at the cabin with the kids.
The kids enjoyed playing with playdough,
