New tricks, Wedding, Family, and Birthday

We found a turtle in our backyard and the boys wanted to touch it.

Thomas has decided he can crawl up the stairs, but as you can see our stairs are a little bit scary. He hasn't gotten much further than this without getting caught and brought back down. P.S. David fixed the baby gate so it goes all the way across the bottom of the stairs and that makes me very happy!

This is his other new trick, only now he can get on top of the table and tries to go back down the other side. We had to take that table down for now.

Thomas and Benjamin, his cousin, playing at the family cookout the night before James's wedding. We went to Lauri's brother's house in St. George.

The first time all of the Stewart siblings have been together since I left on my mission 8 years ago. It was good to be together. Here we are lined up in age order.

Thomas got to meet his great-grandparents who live in Layton. We got to spend time with most of David's Utah family on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, Thomas was very sick and crying and throwing up during that time. In this picture he is upset because mommy handed him off. He is quite a mommy's boy (anyone who's been around us might think that is kind of an understatement).

Thomas found out he loves balloons. He wanted to hold them by the ends (where you tie it), so I held it for him and he grabbed it. He walked all around the house holding his two balloons and swinging them around.

Thomas shares his birthday with his other great grandma (An'mere). We celebrated together at our house. Neither of them ended up blowing out the candle, Isaac helped with that.

Thomas wasn't so sure about cake and ice cream. He did eat most of it. I just like his face in this picture.

Thomas got a turtle sandbox for his birthday and got to play in it with his cousins. He also got a fun slide and lots of other cool presents. We made a book for him which I just need to figure out how to put on my blog, so that will be coming soon. He had a great first birthday!
